How the Dashboard works
The Tiny Dashboard is a public discovery board for independent websites. This methodology explains what qualifies, what BP measures, and why no one can buy a rank.
What the Dashboard measures
The Dashboard ranks verified websites by recent participation recorded on this platform. It is not a measurement of total internet traffic, revenue, company size, investment quality, or general popularity. A higher position means a site has more active BP after decay at that moment.
Verification before ranking
A submitted website receives no public rank or BP until ownership and safety checks are complete. Verification may use a matching company email, DNS record, HTML file, or meta tag. We also check that the destination is functional, accurately represented, and compatible with our Community Guidelines. Verification confirms control; it is not an endorsement.
How BP is calculated
BP comes from valid participation ledger events. Each event contributes its original points and then declines linearly over seven days until its contribution reaches zero. The live score is the sum of those active contributions, rounded down to a whole number. Only credited events are counted; pending, rejected, expired, reversed, or unverified activity does not increase a score.
Movement and held time
Daily movement compares a site’s current position with its previous daily snapshot. A positive number means it moved upward; a negative number means it moved downward. Held time begins when the current global leader first takes the number-one position and resets when the leader changes.
No paid placement
Submission, verification, and normal browsing are free. The Tiny Dashboard does not sell BP, sponsored rank, paid boosts, slower decay, or preferred placement. If rewarded ads become available after provider approval, they remain optional and grant limited, non-transferable platform BP only after an eligible completion signal.
Moderation and corrections
Automated safeguards and human review protect the board from duplicate listings, impersonation, malware, manipulated participation, and invalid ad activity. We may correct categories, reverse invalid ledger events, suspend a listing, or remove it. Reports and evidence can be sent to safety@thetinydashboard.com.
Reading an empty state
The Dashboard never fills gaps with demo rankings. If a category has no verified sites, a movement list has no genuine risers, or rewarded ads are unavailable, the page says so. This keeps every visible number tied to a real production record.
